| Wonderfully designed with an excellent colour playing board which transforms an ocean going cruise liner into a sinking ship in just a few turns. Now begins a unique game. ** UK introduction; One warm September evening a liner is cruising amongst the islands of the Vega archipelago in the Pacific ocean. Suddenly - the great Liner lurches - and silence follows. Moments later a voice comes over the Tannoy. "This is your Captain. We have hit a submerged coral reef. Do not panic. Passengers please return to your cabins and await the arrival of an officer who will guide you to the lifeboats. A rescue ship is steaming towards us." As ship's officer on board a cruise liner, you will rescue passengers and collect food and water tokens as the ship slowly sinks. Rising water forces you to head for a lifeboat, so put to sea with whatever you've managed to save. And then, a whole new game begins. Shipmates become enemies, friendly islands aren't always paradise, cannibals are having a beach party and you are cordially invited :) It's a merciless struggle especially when you see the rescue ship on the horizon because you must reach it with 2 passengers, 2 food and 2 water tokens to win the game. *** US introduction; It was a calm, bitter cold night, the frozen stars hung like icicles in the sky. The unsinkable Titanic, the greatest ocean liner of its time, was racing towards disaster. Directly ahead, even darker than darkness, loomed an iceberg.
