| 3 scenarios with individual victory conditions; The reactor room. The first encounter with the aliens. A squad of 9 marines, led by Sgt. Apone, enters the lair in search of the Colonists. - win if 7 or more Marines escape the map healthy, wounded or incapacitated - draw if 4 to 6 escape - lose if 3 or less escape Operations and the air ducts. Barricaded into the colony’s command post, the remaining Marines, along with Ripley, Newt and Burke, face a concentrated alien assault. As they fall back, Newt leads the survivors through a maze of tunnels toward the landing pad and safety; - win if 4 or more Marines exit the air ducts - draw if 1 to 3 escape - lose if none escape Ripley vs the Queen. On board the ship, Ripley uses a power loader in her final battle with the alien Queen. - win by dropping the Queen into the airlock - lose if the Queen incapacitates or kills Ripley A rare and highly collectable game. The movie was released in 1986, directed by James Cameron and starring Sigourney Weaver as Ellen Ripley. Some of the counters are not used in this game and are provided for the Aliens expansion pack, sold separately. It includes a new colour map, new cards to determine the inhabitants of alien lairs, new scenarios for the battle onboard the drop ship, Ripley’s rescue of Newt, an attempted rescue of Apone and Dietrich and a complete hunt for the Alien Queen. The Marines have more options, greater challenges and new rules re. ammunition restrictions, backup weapons and tournament rules. |
