Use the CSA card deck to play Confederate or the USA deck to play the Union
- map cards buid up the board map as you play
- leader cards feature photographs and histories
- Corps / division cards feature insignia, battle flags, lists of major engagements and important commanders.
Take turns to move with up to 5 steps per move;
- draw cards from the deck
- move cards to place troops, leaders or map cards on the table
- enter into combat
- reorganise by moving cards on the table or adding cards from your hand
- regroup and restore depleted units
The game uses a unique 2 dice combat results table which reflects the strengths and weaknesses of individual Generals and Units.
