1 x playing board with spring loaded bar 18 x red playing pieces 20 x blue playing pieces 25 x yellow playing pieces 1 x rules sheet Win points by removing colour playing pieces from the game board without moving the spring bar. The player with most points, wins. Pieces are worth points depending on colour. 3 points for red, 2 points for blue and 1 point for yellow. Larger pieces are worth more than smaller pieces because they are more likely to move the bar when removed. To begin the game, players pull back the spring bar and then place all the playing pieces in the gap created. The playing pieces are all mixed up and the spring bar is gently released until it rests against them and is then not touched during the game. The playing pieces are now held under pressure and the game is ready to play. Stress arches and patterns form that skilled players can recognise. If the spring bar moves past one or more markings on a scale on the side of the board, the player is penalised 3 points. If the bar moves as a piece is removed, this can also cause other pieces to fly off the board or fall over. These are removed and discounted. |
