The Trans Continental Express has
just pulled into Istanbul Station. Dr. Black has been found murdered and the
hunt is on to discover where the crime took place. Was it on the train or in
the station? What was the murder weapon and just who committed the crime? Three new suspects join the ranks; Miss Peach, Mr. Brown, and Earl Grey. So there are now 9 suspects. The characters appear as beautifully styled playing pieces. Three extra weapons also thicken the plot; a blunderbuss, poison or an axe. The gameplay has also subtly changed. Players must land on a clue case which reveals a coded picture. All players hold their own passport which includes all these codes and their corresponding instructions. This may allow that player to look at any window in the card holders, take a spare card (thus eliminating a room, a suspect or a weapon) or to seek out a weapon or a station attendant to obtain a special clue card. To help players collate the
information they gather, each player detective has a notebook sheet on
which they work out the classic Cluedo question... Whodunnit, where and with
what?

The game is particularly rare as only one print run was released in the year 2000 and is now discontinued.
Three new suspects join the ranks; Miss Peach, Mr. Brown, and Earl Grey. The characters appear as beautifully styled playing pieces. Three extra weapons also thicken the plot; a blunderbuss, poison or an axe. The room are; Ticket Office, Left Luggage, Barber's Shop, Lost Property, Kiosk, Waiting Room, Dining Car, Engine Room and Cocktail Lounge. Clue cases are distributed around the board and when landed on, provide clues to help solve the crime, rather than relying on other players to provide evidence against your guessing the weapon, location and murderer when entering any one of the 9 rooms. Clue cases may also give instructions to all players, as well as, or instead of giving clues to the player who landed on them. This is a more exciting and detailed game than standard Cluedo, particularly as the action has switched to Istanbul Railway Station rather than being limited to Tudor Close.
Cluedo remains a classic murder mystery board game, still in production and selling worldwide, since the 1940s. This Passport to Murder Super Challenge edition is a fitting tribute and expansion of play. This is particularly rare as only
one print run was released in the year 2000 and is now discontinued.
