| A simple game that recreates mediaeval warfare. Cry havoc was a command meaning no quarter was to be given. One map sheet shows a village and the other, crossroads. Each cardboard playing counter represents an individual character in varying states of combat effectiveness, with unique name, costume and combat values. For example; - 2 counters represent a crossbowman named Nicholas; one shows him at full strength, the other when he is wounded - there are 4 Knight / Baron counters; on horseback good health, on horseback wounded, on foot in good health and on foot wounded. A lot of time and thought has obviously gone into the wonderful design. |
