'Fair Means or Foul', so runs the motto of the secretive club antique, on
the fringe of
Each year the club organises a competition to discover who will earn their collector of the year award at the club's annual dinner. Competitors must collect pieces from six categories, chosen secretly and at random. This year the categories are; pipes, toys, advertising posters, folk masks; Competitors are allowed £50,000 each to spend. Pieces may be acquired by fair means or foul from As collections are built up, competitors exhibit them around the country's stately homes, scoring points which will move them nearer to the coveted place at the head of the table at the annual dinner. |
