1 x display board;
- 5 colour, carved stones

This was a very popular game with children in Victorian and Edwardian times. These stones were recovered from old dumps at Strood, near Rochester, Kent, UK.
Using only the same hand, each player throws five Jacks in the air tries to catch as many as possible on the back of the hand. These are thrown up again from the back of the hand and as many as possible are caught in the palm. The player who catches most Jacks starts. Play continues clockwise.
The first player throws the 5 Jacks to the ground.
Using only the same hand, throw the ball in the air and pick up a Jack and then catch the ball. Use alternate hands until all the Jacks are picked up.
Repeat using 2,2,1 Jacks, then 3,2 Jacks, then 4,1 Jacks then 5 Jacks.
Players take turns to play the sequence. Progress furthest to win.
