Naval bases are marked with a circle and a points value. Higher
points values tend to be given to bases which are more difficult and risky to
reach. The winner is the first to capture bases worth 100 points.
For a shorter game, reduce this total. The rules leaflet describes an advanced game offering greater scope for skill and
manoeuvring.
Defence must not be neglected
though and strategy is required for manoeuvring to the best advantage.
Differences in strength and speed of various units of the fleet and
configuration of coasts marked on the charts ensure variety.
