Players check whether their answers are correct or not by positioning the Great Marvello on the mirror on the right side of the board, and, as if by magic, he points to the correct answer.

This is a rare version of the very popular Magic Robot Quiz Game, presented by Eamonn Andrews; a popular TV and game show presenter in What’s my line and This is your life. His photo and copy signature are printed on each question and answer sheet. The Great Marvello figure bears a striking resemblance to Dr. Magini which was another Magic robot style game.
