1 x quarter fold game board 1 x pagoda special tile dispenser and lid 12 x sets of 6 colour animal tiles 1 x dice 5 x mandarin figures 5 x tile collection cards 1 x pack of play money 1 x instruction leaflet The game board depicts the Chinese zodiac, a cycle of 12 years in which each year is characterised by an animal symbol. Each animal segment on the board is further divided into 3 spaces. The central space of each triple is the Chinese character for the animal sign which controls that segment. Players collect tiles and position them on their personal collection card. The game ends when one player has collected either; - 1 tile of each of the 12 types of animal of any colour - all 6 tiles of one animal type |

| As players move round the board, they might operate the tile dispenser and claim a tile. If you like, choose to gamble and try for a second tile, which can be claimed if it lands face down out of the dispenser. Continue to gamble in this way. If any subsequent tile lands picture side up, you lose the automatic right to these tiles and an auction takes place. If a player passes another player on the board, they can take a tile of choice from the player they passed. Similar to card games where players choose to collect a sequence or all of a kind. An original and ingenious game. |
