Your favourite Rembrandt is up
for auction and you are bidding for it against a dazzling array of eccentric
art speculators. Should you continue to bid higher? What if it's a worthless
forgery? You must decide quickly but you'll never know for sure unless you
outbid the competition. Keen observation, steady nerves and a little luck are
needed for this exciting trip into the elite world of the international art
auction. If you like, you may adopt the role of one of six colourful
characters who might attend such an auction. Their pictures and profiles are
printed on special cards. So now you're ready to play. The game ends when the
last painting and value card are drawn from the board. The winner is the
player who has acquired the largest fortune in
paintings and cash.

A great party game with
beautifully illustrated playing board and cards. In this copy of the game,
each player has one distribution card which can be used to
estimate the likelihood of a certain value of card
appearing or reappearing. In this way, the bidding on masterpieces may be
based more on judgement than guesswork.
