Your favourite Van Gogh is up for auction and you are bidding for it against a dazzling array of eccentric art speculators. Should you continue to bid higher? What if it's a worthless forgery?
You must decide quickly but you'll never know for sure unless you outbid the competition. Keen observation, steady nerves and a little luck make the difference in Masterpiece.  An exciting trip into the elite world of international art auction. The game ends when the last painting has been sold. The winner is the player who acquires the largest fortune in paintings and cash.

  Contents Notes

1 x playing board

6 x playing pieces

24 x painting cards

42 x value cards

6 x value charts

1 x pack of play money in four denominations

1 x dice

1 x display easel

1 x rules leaflet

A great party game with beautifully illustrated playing board and cards.

This edition differs from the original;

- there are more value cards to select from (originally 24, one for each painting)
- the biographies of the bidders are printed on the inner box packaging (originally they were printed on separate cards)
- there is now a handy display easel to combine a painting with a value card. In the original you relied on small plastic clips.
