Enter the Tower of London , steal one or more of the Crown Jewels and escape. This is no easy task. The jewels are housed in the white tower in the centre of a fortress surrounded by walls and towers. On the north, east and west sides, lie an impassable moat. To the south is the River Thames.
You cannot bring in equipment but must gather it while you move around inside the
Tower of London looking like an innocent visitor. The challenge may be attempted individually or in teams.

Short Version; The first player to escape with one or more jewels is the winner.
Long Version; All jewels must be stolen. The player with the highest total value wins. In the event of a tie, the player with St. Edward's Crown is the winner.

This is the official Tower of London boardgame.
The attention to detail in the playing pieces and Crown Jewels is remarkable and the game comes to life with the layout of the
Tower of London on the game board.

At 7 o'clock on a May morning in 1671 a cloaked man disguised as a parson arrived at the Tower of London to meet Talbot Edwards, Keeper of the Crown Jewels. The visitor was an Irish adventurer called Colonel Blood and his intention was to steal the Crown Jewels. Welcomed as a friend, he was allowed to view the Jewels. Edward was knocked senseless. Colonel Blood concealed the Crown beneath his cloak. One accomplice filed the Sceptre in half while the other stuffed the Orb down his breeches. At the last moment Blood's plans were foiled. The cry "Treason- the Crown is stolen!" rang around the Tower. The Yeomen gave chase amid confusion and pistol shots. The Orb rolled into a gutter. Colonel Blood and his fellow traitors were caught just in time. This has been the only documented attempt to steal the Crown Jewels.
