| Play an Oxford undergraduate, live Oxford University life to the full and get the highest honours degree to win. Start from your college and move around the board, pick up currency and hand it in at various colleges to complete the academic, sporting and social assignments on your term card. Completed assignments earn points which count to your final degree. "It's half-past seven on a warm summer's evening. You are sitting alone in the library, desperately trying to finish an essay to hand to your tutor in the morning. You consider whether your tutor would believe the "dog ate my essay" story for a third time. Suddenly, you remember that you are expected at a boat club barbecue. With only half an hour to spare, you race off to the off-licence to buy a bottle of wine before cycling on to the boat house. Perhaps, that vital summing-up paragraph will be more forthcoming after a couple of drinks!" With only 8 weeks in each term, Undergraduates at Oxford University must quickly learn to cope with a frantic lifestyle if they are to achieve all that is expected of them. Balancing a packed academic timetable with a demanding social calendar becomes a skill that many look back on with fond memories, wondering how they ever survived, let alone thrived, at Oxford. A rare and unusual game created by Oxford graduates to capture the pressure and excitement of life at their Alma Mater. |
