This is a game of armoured warfare on the
Eastern Front 1941 - 1945. PanzerBlitz recreates the drama and furious action of tactical level armoured warfare.
Battle simulations take place on a realistic map board showing about
20 square miles of typical Russian terrain. The playing pieces are accurate
symbols of the platoon and company sized units which fought on the
Eastern Front in World War II. More than a dozen different scenarios are
given, each of which allows you to play a completely new situation
in which to test your tactics. Prior military knowledge or experience
however, are not needed to play PanzerBlitz; just common sense, clear
thinking and a competitive spirit.
|
PanzerBlitz translates to armoured lightning. The map
board playing surfaces can join together in a variety of way to form many
different terrains. The game situation cards allow the playing of several
games using the same basic rules. Game play includes factors
such as range, elevation, obstacles to fire, fortifications, close infantry assault tactics, weapons interrelationships, motor transport,
mines, anti-tank guns, mortars, spotting and indirect fire.
