You are Robin Hood and your friends Will Scarlet, Maid Marian, Little John and Friar Tuck have been captured by the evil Sheriff of Nottingham and taken to his castle.

The first player to rescue them, steal some of the Sheriff's treasure and return to Sherwood Forest, wins.

There are 2 parts to each turn. First move the Sheriff to attack your opponents / move away from you and then move your Robin Hood. Short and long games are described in the rules.

The box lid suggests 5 players but the base refers to 6 players. Possibly a print error or perhaps the 6th person could play the Sheriff?
