| Players are Fleet Street reporters. Fill a blank page of your newspaper with stories and advertisements of as high a value as possible. The total value of a full page can vary considerably according to the individual totals marked on the back of each story card placed on the newspaper blank. The winner is the player who composes a page of the highest value plus cheques held at the close of the game and other bonuses obtained. There is no separate game board. Players have their own newspaper blank sheet to work from. All 10 story cards are supplied in the 5 player edition whereas for the 4 player edition, 8 cards are available. Interestingly the 8 supplied are different in each box. The headline and value for each story card; Advertiser's Announcement, all valued at £1,000 and illustrated; Sirdar Hand Knitting Wools, Harlequin Cakes and Puddings, Osram Lamps, Dinky Toys (Made by Meccano Ltd.), Walpamur Paints, Persil, Think of Road Safety, Esso Extra, Flexello Castors, Golden Shred, OXO, Waveney Canned Vegetables, Lyle's Golden Syrup, Eldorado Ice Cream, BEA (British European Airways), 365 Handkerchiefs, Stork Margarine and Gilbeys Spey Royal Scotch Whisky.
