A fast moving game of strategy in
attack and defence, known as the great game of tactics on land, sea and air.
Tri-tactics is a game for 2 players and is played on a special board with 112
pieces of various values. Each player starts with 56 pieces. Sides are
distinguished by coloured backs of the pieces. The board
is set between the players so that each has headquarters (HQ) at the front.
The pieces which throughout the game stand with their backs towards the
opponent are arranged at the discretion of the Commander on his nearest five
rows. The board illustrates equal amounts of land and sea for both players.
On each side there is a space marked HQ and also a river leading into a lake
which is the naval base. The object of the game is to occupy either your
opponent's HQ or lake, with one of your pieces.
