| For over 25 million years Andrewsarchus is the greatest land predator. He looks like a wolf but is the size of a rhino, weighs more than a car, twice the length and crunches through bone like candy. There's also Gastornis, a flightless bird as tall as a man, rippling with muscles and thick feathers plus a jutting, fearsome beak to tear through bone and sinew like paper. The cards include facts provided by Dr. Alexandra Freeman and Dr. Paul Chambers, researchers to the series. |
