The teams are not shown on the board. - there are now 8 teams from the Premier league, division 1, division 2 and division 3 - winning the game involves gaining glory points / trophies, rather than winning the cup - there are now 8 special division home and away dice (previously 6) and a six sided penalty dice; with goal, goal, goal, goal, missed or saved on the sides - dice are used more than once in each game; at least once for each half of the game, plus extra time / penalty shootouts - the effect of the star players bought now depends on whether they are defence or attack players. If attack, they add one goal to the total, if defence, they reduce the opponent's score by 1 goal. They are also attributed to particular teams and may be brought on for the first half or the second half of the game. - there are additional optional rules for Derby matches and for open market transfers -blank draw and team cards are included The winner will be the player who has won the most glory points after the final has been played. Glory points are represented by miniature trophies and are awarded; - when a team defeats (or sometimes draws with) a team from a higher division - when a team reaches the semi-finals - to the teams who play in the final Teams featured; Premier Division; Leeds Utd., Notts.
