Solve the mystery with magical professor, culprit, spell and victim cards. When you think you have solved the mystery, head for the forbidden third floor where ‘fluffy’s trapdoor guards the answer. Further notes:

This game is similar in style and principle to Cluedo, but with a fourth dimension.
Rather than having to solve the three questions- who?, with what? and where?, players must identify which member of staff (from which classroom) caught which culprit casting which spell on which victim.
In this version of the game, the staff are Prof. Snape (potions), Prof. McConagall (transfiguration) Argus Filch (Filch’s office), Madam Pince (Library), Prof. Quirrell (Defence against the Dark Arts), Madam Hooch (Flying class), Prof. Sprout (Herbology), Prof. Binns (History of Magic); the culprits are Draco Malfoy, Vincent Crabbe, Gregory Goyle, Fred Weasley and George Weasley; the spells are forgetfulness potion, sleeping potion, wingardium leviosa, locomotor mortis, and petrificus totalus. The victims are Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermoine Granger, Neville Longbottom and Mrs. Norris. One each of the staff, culprits, spells and victims cards are secretly placed under the game board flap (fluffy’s trapdoor) and players each aim to be the first to identify them by process of elimination.
This is an adaptation and expansion of the game produced a year earlier (2000) both in the UK (with the same game title) and in the US (with the title ‘Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s stone- Mystery at Hogwarts’.)
